I think that I mentioned it before, but my little brother and I switch between my mom’s house and my dad’s house during holidays, including this Thanksgiving.  So this year my little brother and I went to my dads’s house to celebrate Thanksgiving on the actual day, and went to my mom’s the following day.  This way we could spent time with both parents celebrating the holiday in both places.  This actually works to my advantage because I get two huge dinners (not to mention two christmases later in the year).   My stepdad and stepbrother did have a smaller dinner on the actual Thanksgiving day but had to wait until the day after to have the bigger second feast.  I doubt that they minded.
